New Embroidery Machine Arriving!

Excited to announce that our new 8-head Barudan embroidery machine is set to arrive later this month.
The addition of this machine will effectively double our in-house production capacity, while simultaneously reducing our carbon footprint.
During daylight hours, all our machines and lighting will be powered by our solar cells, meaning that our garments will be embroidered by the sun!

“We were new to in-house embroidery 4 years ago, and we now produce 5000 pcs per month. Barudan have walked us through the training, installation and running of a very successful embroidery team”
Tim Drew MD Peter Drew Contracts Ltd

“This is the forth machine we have installed at Peter Drew’s, we are delighted that they have chosen Barudan for their new 8 head machine and we look forward to continue to support all their embroidery needs”
Lisa Craddock Sales Exec, Barudan UK Ltd

The benefits of a extra embroidery machine:

1. Increased Production Capacity:

  • The most obvious benefit of having an extra embroidery machine is the significant boost in production capacity. With more machines at our disposal, we can handle larger orders and meet customer demands more efficiently.

2. Faster Turnaround Times:

  • With additional embroidery machines, we can complete projects quicker. This means shorter lead times for our customers.

  • Fast turnaround times can also be crucial for handling rush orders or accommodating last-minute changes in customer requests, further enhancing our customer responsiveness.

3. Training and Skill Development:

  • Introducing a new embroidery machine will provide an opportunity for skill development among our team members. Those who operate the machines will gain further expertise in their usage, improving their familiarity with the machines and improving quality of output.

  • Additionally, cross-training employees to operate the new machine will increase versatility within our branding department. This will be especially useful during busy seasons or when certain team members are unavailable.

4. Flexibility in Production Scheduling:

  • Multiple embroidery machines offer greater flexibility in managing production schedules. We can assign different machines to various tasks, allowing our embroidery team to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • This flexibility helps the embroidery team to adapt to changing customer demands and accommodate varying order sizes. It also minimises the risk of bottlenecks in production.

In summary, investing in an extra embroidery machine is not just about adding a piece of equipment; it's about unlocking a multitude of advantages that can positively impact our production efficiency, employee development, and overall customer satisfaction.
