Sustainability is at the heart of our supply chain. We choose suppliers with the highest standards to partner with on your behalf. These partners are members of keystone organisations like Sedex, Oeko-Tex, SGS and Intertek. Here are some case studies from our supply chain:

PORTWEST

At a glance:

  • 85% of their garments carry the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label, guaranteeing that every component of that product has been tested for harmful substances.

  • An eco-friendly range of products. Each of these products have been responsibly sourced and produced in the most environmentally friendly manner achievable.

  • Member of Sedex, which helps companies to manage and improve working conditions in global supply chains.

  • DHL Go Green and DPD Go Green certificate.

ORN

At a glance:

  • They have reduced their carbon footprint by 30% annually, and aim to be carbon neutral by 2030.

  • All orders are shipped using cartons / bags made from 100% recycled material.

  • Member of Sedex.

  • STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

  • Certified to the Global Recycled Standard.

  • ISO 14001 : 2015 registered.

Brook Tavener

At a glance:

  • Use of 66% recycled cardboard in all packaging (up to 100% in some cases).

  • All of the fabrics used when manufacturing their clothing have been certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

  • Ensure that all elements of their supply chain strictly follow the ETI Base Code.

  • They work closely with Sedex.

  • Some styles in certain Collections use recycled polyester in the fabric blend. This sees up to 45 plastic bottles per suit saved from landfill!

Gildan

At a glance:

  • Included in Corporate Knight’s Global 100 ranking of the World’s most sustainable corporations in 2021.

  • By 2027, they aim to achieve zero manufacturing waste and to use 75% recycled or sustainable packaging and trim materials.

  • Member of the USCTP.

  • Planted 3,750 plants through three afforestation campaigns in the Dominican Republic and Honduras: 2,000 in the San Pedro de Macoris/Las Américas sewing facilities in the Dominican Republic, 1,000 in the Biotop area of our textile facility in the Dominican Republic, and 750 in our Rio Nance facility in Honduras.

  • Their code of conduct aligns with standards such as ILO and encompasses principles set by FLA and WRAP.

  • Audits performed by WRAP, SMETA and/or SLCP.

  • Living wage employer.

Kariban

At a glance:

  • New styles made from natural and virtuous fibres, such as organic cotton certified by Ecocert Greenlife.

  • They opt for local supply networks, which minimises their environmental footprint and prioritises the local economy.

  • Reuse their scrap materials to make new bags.

  • Significantly reduced the use of polybags and modified some of their packaging by moving towards recycled models.

Fruit of the Loom

At a glance:

  • Zero waste in their own operations for the 4th year in a row.

  • 75% of their current energy used to produce products for Europe, in their Moroccan facilities, is renewable.

  • WRAP certification.

Regatta

At a glance:

  • ‘Achiever’ level business with the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI).

  • Presented the Gold Award by Scancapture who runs ‘In the Open’ surveys, with 78% of their employees feeling engaged at work, compared to a national average of 59%.

  • PFOS, PFOA and PFC free.

  • Partnered with the EOG.

  • 0% office waste in landfill.

Kustom Kit

At a glance:

  • All of their garment manufacturers hold an audit from either Wrap, Sedex, Amfori or/and Accord.

  • Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

  • Oeko-Tex step – promoting sustainable textile production.

  • Oeko-Tex made in green.

  • None of their products contain any of the current substances of very high concern in accordance to European regulation (EC 2006/1907 – Reach Regulation)

Madeira
