Steve’s Cotswold Way Walk for Mind Charity

Steve, who is part our branding team, starts his walk of the Cotswold way from Chipping Campden to Bath this week!

He’s hoping to complete the walk in under 1 week, with long days of walking and camping along the way.

The Cotswold Way is a long-distance footpath in England that spans approximately 102 miles (164 kilometers) through the Cotswolds, a picturesque area known for its rolling hills, charming villages, and stunning landscapes - (it’s just down the road from where we’re based!)

The trail officially begins in the market town of Chipping Campden in Gloucestershire, and ends in the city of Bath in Somerset.
It passes through several quintessential Cotswold villages, including Broadway, Winchcombe, Painswick, and many more.
The path takes walkers across diverse terrains, from open fields and woodlands, to steep escarpments and panoramic viewpoints.

The overall difficulty level of the walk is considered moderate, making it accessible to a wide range of walkers, from beginners to experienced hikers.

The Cotswold Way is rich in history, with connections to Roman history, medieval architecture, and prehistoric sites.
Walkers can explore historic churches, old manor houses, and remnants of ancient settlements.
