Sizes

Staff sizes are recorded by the system ready for your next order.
Order screens are pre-populated with staff sizes, even across different suppliers’ products for fast and accurate ordering.

Sizes

Garment and staff sizes are key elements of the portal.

Garments have two measurements, firstly size, for example, dress, chest, collar or waist and secondly fit, for example, a trouser leg or jacket length.

When placing orders on the portal, sizes and fits are displayed in drop-downs for each garment.

Once you have placed an order, staff sizes are recorded. When you order again, the sizes are prepopulated based on your previous order.

If a garment has been exchanged for a different size, the portal records the last size ordered and staff history will show the exchange of the garment.

Corporate clothing is supplied in standard sizes and most suppliers' ranges have identical sizes.

However, there are exceptions where, for example, a 3XL in one make is the same size as a 4XL in another make. If you have both of these brands in your wardrobes, then fitting your staff is more challenging.

The portal takes the different garment sizes into account and would suggest a 3XL in one garment and a 4XL in the second, ensuring a good fit and reducing garment exchanges.

These size suggestions may be overridden by the buyer if required.

Size Groups

We are developing other useful sizing features, like Size Profiles and the ability to pre-load sizes.

Sizes are usually recorded retrospectively upon ordering, however, if you are rolling out a new contract, it may be helpful to record staff sizes during recruitment. These sizes can then be loaded against your staff. Upon ordering, the sizes will be prepopulated and ordering can be a one-button press or fully automated. See Size Upload for more details.

How do you know that the sizes entered are correct and mistakes have not been made? Size profiling checks that the garments or sizes you have entered are balanced. For example, you would expect a 42R jacket to pair with a 36R pair of trousers. If there is a considerable difference in the expected range, then the selection may not be correct and the buyer is advised to change the sizes. See Size Profiling for further details.
