Happy World Earth Day!
This year’s theme is ‘Invest In Our Planet’.
The actions that we’ve taken and continue to take to protect our earth include:
🌞 We’ve installed 50kWh solar panels onto our warehouse roof
🌡️ Installed heat pumps which are now powered by our solar panels
🔌 We now have 3 electric cars!
📝 Reduced the amount of paper we use in the business, our transport mileage, the use of air con and heating, and the amount of waste that we produce
📦 Reuse packaging and cardboard boxes
♻️ Recycle all cardboard, glass and paper used. Our packaging which we use is made out of recycled materials and is also recyclable itself!
👗 Donate clothing to charity, and offer serviceable pallets to local businesses
💡 Fitted motion sensitive LED lighting in our warehouse
💚 We offer sustainable clothing ranges from suppliers such as Orn, Brook Taverner and Portwest. Take a look!
