Our initial conversations with Regent Security Samsic were centred on service issues with their incumbent uniform supplier. Poor communication meant that trying to resolve those issues was an uphill struggle.
The problems included low quality of uniform that was not designed to cope with the demands of a Security Officer’s role. This led to complaints from the Officers, who grew increasingly frustrated with the poor quality uniform and filled their Managers’ inboxes with their concerns.
Long lead times on branded garments combined with time-consuming order forms left Regent Samsic with no option but to look for an alternative supplier. Having spotted one of our uniformed Officers on a retail site, the MD asked where his uniform came from and got in contact with us immediately.
Our first mission was to really understand the needs of Regent Samsic, as we have learned over 30 years within the security industry that every client has their own specific challenges. A change in branding allowed us to move Regent Samsic from woven badges to embroidered logos - a crucial detail as they were focusing on a corporate image. Further down the line we trained key personnel on web-based ordering, which has freed up their time considerably.
Christine, Security Administrator at Regent Samsic: ‘Before Uniforms@PeterDrew became our uniform supplier, I was inundated with complaints from both Officers and Clients because the garments had not arrived or were of poor quality; it took up most of my day! The situation now is that the uniform side of the business is running so smoothly that I can get on with my real job as they have taken all the aggravation away and deliver ‘on time and in full’. They really do put the customer first and my account manager Ruth makes sure we are well looked after’.
